About Us

BEING LUMINARY BEGAN WORKING WITH CLIENTS IN THE CHARITIES AND STATE-FUNDED SECTORS IN 2019.

From the start, we were partnering with forward-thinking leaders—people passionate about equity and inclusion, committed to creating cultures of belonging, but unsure where to begin.

They knew change was needed.

They just needed the right kind of support to get started.

As the events of 2020 cast an unflinching spotlight on structural, systemic and institutional inequality, our client base began to shift.

Leaders started coming to us not just to comply, but to transform. They wanted to reimagine how diversity was sought, understood and lived. They asked for the challenge, but they also needed support. They were ready to illuminate the parts of their organisations that were holding them back from becoming truly luminary.

Since then, we’ve worked with ever more ambitious and equity-conscious leaders. What they need most is a way to keep equity work central, without losing sight of the day-to-day demands of running complex, resource-conscious organisations.

They want approaches that are pragmatic and doable, but also human, courageous and deeply rooted in learning. They understand that equity isn’t a quick fix—it’s a leadership stance. And they know that sustaining it takes humility, curiosity and commitment.
